    Doing Sci-Movie, I am thinking about haveing the sets CGI,. I just want walls,hall ways"""NOTHING LIKE STARWARS"""""" Can CGI sets looking Real be made in 2 months and

    Cost under 10,000. I need about 5 different looking sets.

    Short answer = yes.

    Long answer = You should discuss that with the effects company you choose to use as its totally dependent on exactly what the project is. (based on the amount available that you listed perhaps you should talk to www.darksidefx.com - a UK based company who have worked on many features - in supporting roles usually). Personally there would be very few circumstances where I'd envisage using a completely CGI set. Yes it can be made to look realistic but ultimately after the composite of the actors; the way the light works on actors and the set will not mix correctly. In most circumstances I would recommend using a combination of real sets and cgi.

    The CGI will always be the easy part (aslong as it is done proffessionally) as locations are a very easy thing to put together virtually. The most important thing is how you light your actors and or the 'real' sections of the set - to ensure they come together seamlessly.
